My "Family Vacation" to Washington DC

Sorry I've been MIA on the blogging!  After my 2 weddings in one weekend, I jetsetted off to Washington DC!  I've spent the last 8 days on a "family vacation" (think the Griswolds) to our nation's capital!  It was my first time visiting so every day was packed with multiple activities, visiting politicians and seeing touristy things.  The visit was an exciting one because my grandpa wrote a book on the Japanese American Admirals & Generals in the US with a forward by a US Senator and so we got a private peek into the White House, Capitol & even met with a curator of one of the Smithsonian galleries!

I'll be back to blogging when I get back (I'm actually sitting in the Dulles Airport right now)!
